Launch notifications

If you sign up on our website, we store your email address, signup time, and the version of the consent notice you agreed to. We use this list to email you when CorkReady launches. It does not create an app account or sign you up for other marketing.

To prevent automated submissions, we process your IP address into a daily, keyed hash and store a short-lived request count. We do not store the raw IP address in the signup database. These counters expire after 24 hours and are removed on the next signup request.

You can ask us to remove your email at any time by contacting privacy@corkready.com. We keep the list until the launch notification is sent or you request removal, then remove it within 30 days. We do not sell the list.

Accounts and sign-in

When you create an account, our authentication provider, WorkOS, processes your email address, account identifier, and the name or profile details supplied by your chosen sign-in provider. Apple may provide a private relay email address. We use this information to identify your account and maintain your sign-in session.

Email sign-in uses a temporary code. Apple and Google handle their own sign-in credentials; CorkReady does not receive your Apple or Google password. Authentication services also process technical information such as IP addresses and browser or device information to operate and protect sign-in.

On your device

The app stores your selected study focus locally. Sign-in refresh tokens are stored using the operating system’s protected storage. Study progress sync, paid subscriptions, and AI tutoring are not available in the current shell. This notice will be updated as those features are introduced.

Service providers

We use WorkOS for authentication, Vercel for website hosting, Neon for launch-signup storage, and Cloudflare for domain services. Apple and Google process sign-in under their own privacy policies. These services may process technical request and security logs needed to operate their services.

Your choices

You can explore the app without creating an account and sign out from the Account screen. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your CorkReady account information, email privacy@corkready.com. We may need to verify that you own the account. Signing out does not delete your account.

Retention and contact

Account information is retained while your account remains active. Deletion requests may be subject to information we need to retain for security or legal obligations. Questions about privacy can be sent to the email address above.
